Glass bottle making machine: working principle and process flow

Glass bottle making machine is an indispensable and important equipment in modern industry, which can efficiently and quickly make glass bottles of various shapes and sizes. Understanding the working principle and process flow of glass bottle making machine helps to better understand and use this equipment to improve production efficiency.

I. Working Principle

The working principle of glass bottle making machine is mainly based on the glass molding process. Firstly, the raw material is melted into glass liquid at high temperature, and then the glass liquid is blown or pressed into the desired shape through the mold. The inside of the machine is usually equipped with a heating system and a mold, the heating system is responsible for heating the glass liquid to a high temperature state, so that it has enough plasticity and is easy to form; the mold is responsible for providing the shape of the glass liquid molding.

II. The process flow

The process flow of glass bottle making machine mainly includes the following steps:

Batching and mixing: According to the production requirements, a certain proportion of sand, soda ash, limestone and other raw materials are mixed to form the matching material.

High-temperature melting: Put the compound into the high-temperature furnace to melt into glass liquid. In this process, the temperature and composition of the glass liquid need to be strictly controlled to ensure its quality and stability.

Forming: The melted glass liquid is transported to the mold of the bottle making machine through pipes. Under the shape and pressure of the mold, the liquid glass is blown or pressed into the desired bottle shape.

Annealing & Quenching: The temperature of the molded glass bottle is high and needs to be gradually lowered and stabilized through the annealing and quenching process to prevent cracks and deformation.

Cooling and Processing: The annealed and quenched glass bottles need to go through a period of natural or forced cooling, and then undergo surface treatment and finishing to meet the requirements of finished products.
